Pill vs. shot: race to stop Post-Surgery blood clots

NCT ID NCT05203705

Summary

This study tested whether a new oral tablet (SHR2285) is as safe and effective as standard injections (enoxaparin) at preventing dangerous blood clots in the legs or lungs after knee replacement surgery. It involved 64 patients aged 40-75 who were scheduled for the operation. The goal was to see if the pill could offer a more convenient way to prevent this serious complication.
