Battery-Powered heart scanner aims for easier diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07420400
Summary
This study is testing a new, portable ultrasound device to see if it can accurately detect a small opening between the upper chambers of the heart, known as a PFO. Researchers will compare the new device's results to the current standard test, which requires a more invasive procedure. The goal is to find a simpler, non-invasive way to diagnose this common heart condition.
