New scan could spot hidden cancers

NCT ID NCT07593209

First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026

Summary

This study is testing a new radioactive tracer that attaches to a protein called EphA2, which is found in high amounts on many solid tumors. The goal is to see if this tracer can make tumors show up more clearly on PET scans. About 30 adults with suspected or confirmed cancer will receive the tracer and then have a PET/CT scan. Researchers will check for side effects and measure how well the tracer highlights tumors.
