Cambridge study aims to make brain tumor scans more accessible
NCT ID NCT06584123
Summary
This study is testing if a newer type of PET scan, which uses a tracer that is easier for hospitals to get, can work as well as a specialized scan for finding pituitary tumors. It will involve 20 patients who have already had the specialized scan. The goal is to see if the new scan gives doctors the same clear picture to help guide treatment decisions.
