New 'Triple Shot' tested to block surgery pain for days

NCT ID NCT07131657

Summary

This study tested a new combination injection called Ropiclobet, designed to numb the arm during surgery and provide pain relief afterward. It involved 60 adults having arm, elbow, forearm, or hand surgery. The injection was given near the nerves in the shoulder before the operation, and researchers measured how long pain relief lasted and checked for side effects.
