New nerve block aims to ease agony of chest surgery
NCT ID NCT07275047
Summary
This study is testing a newer method for numbing nerves after major chest surgery (thoracotomy) to see if it works as well as the current standard. Researchers will compare how much pain relief patients get from each method and how much strong pain medication they need afterward. The goal is to find a safe and effective option to help patients recover more comfortably.
