New nerve block could slash pain after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07420712
Summary
This study is testing if a new type of nerve block can better control pain after minimally invasive heart bypass surgery. Sixty patients will be randomly assigned to receive either this new block or standard pain management. The main goal is to see if the block reduces the need for strong opioid painkillers and helps patients recover faster.
