Summary
This early study is testing the safety and function of a new magnetic device used during weight loss surgery. The device connects different parts of the intestine to help people with severe obesity lose weight and improve related health conditions. Researchers are enrolling 28 adults who qualify for specific types of bariatric surgery to see if this new approach works safely.
