One needle, two nerves: new block aims to ease agony after hip surgery

NCT ID NCT07268911

Summary

This study is testing a new nerve-block technique to help control pain after hip fracture surgery. The technique, called a FRONT block, uses one injection to target two nerves that supply the front of the hip. Researchers hope it will provide strong pain relief while allowing patients to move their leg sooner after surgery, which could lead to a faster recovery.
