New nail polish treatment battles stubborn fungus

Summary

This study is testing a new topical nail treatment (ENRICHED) against an existing medication (Loceryl) for fungal nail infections. About 88 adults with a confirmed nail fungus infection will apply one of the treatments for 9 months. Researchers will measure how much healthy nail grows back and check if the fungus is gone.
