First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of eyeglass lens designed to slow down the worsening of nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 6 to 14. Each child will wear a new lens on one eye and an older version on the other for 6 months, then switch. Researchers will measure eye growth and vision quality over a year to see if the new lens works better.
