New mRNA tech targets Brain-Swelling virus

NCT ID NCT06680128

Summary

This study is testing a new mRNA vaccine designed to protect against Japanese encephalitis, a serious viral brain infection spread by mosquitoes. Researchers will give the vaccine to 402 healthy adults to check if it is safe and if it triggers a strong immune response. They will compare it to an existing vaccine to see how well the new one works.
