Pfizer tests Next-Gen mRNA shot to fight painful shingles
NCT ID NCT05703607
Summary
This study tested a new shingles vaccine made with mRNA technology, similar to some COVID-19 vaccines. It aimed to see if the vaccine was safe and how well it triggered an immune response in healthy adults aged 50 to 85. Researchers compared different versions of the new vaccine against an already approved shingles shot.
