One-Shot cancer treatment? new injection reprograms immune cells inside the body
NCT ID NCT07362602
Summary
This early study is testing a new, more accessible form of CAR-T therapy for adults with certain B-cell blood cancers, like leukemia and lymphoma. Instead of the complex process of removing and modifying a patient's cells in a lab, this experimental treatment is given as an injection. The injection contains genetic instructions (mRNA) designed to reprogram the patient's own immune cells inside their body to find and fight the cancer.
