New bladder scan aims to see cancer more clearly before surgery

NCT ID NCT04369560

Summary

This early study is testing a new type of MRI scan designed to improve how doctors determine the stage of bladder cancer before surgery. It involves placing a special contrast fluid directly into the bladder via a catheter to get clearer images. The goal is to see if this method can safely and accurately show how deep a tumor has grown into the bladder wall, which helps guide treatment decisions.
