Scientists test 'Lung Glue' to seal surgical leaks
NCT ID NCT05854654
Summary
This research aims to develop better methods to find and fix air leaks that can happen during lung surgery. Researchers will use donated human lungs that are not suitable for transplant to create a realistic lab model. They will test a new bio-adhesive sealant to see if it can effectively stop these leaks, which could help patients recover faster with fewer complications.
