Could blocking a hormone ease menopause without estrogen risks?

NCT ID NCT07254429

Summary

This study is testing if a new hormone-blocking treatment can safely reduce menopausal symptoms like hot flashes and protect bone health. It will compare this new approach to standard estrogen therapy and a placebo in about 192 postmenopausal women. The goal is to find a safe alternative for women who cannot or choose not to take estrogen.
