New 'Artificial Pancreas' system enters human testing

NCT ID NCT07227805

Summary

This study is testing a new, experimental automated insulin delivery system (called the MiniMed NMX8) for people who require insulin for diabetes. It will compare the new system to a currently available one (the MiniMed 780G) to see if it is safe and performs just as well or better at keeping blood sugar in a healthy range. About 116 people, including children as young as 2, who already use the 780G system will participate.
