Drug combo aims to spark sperm production in infertile men

NCT ID NCT06706414

Summary

This study is testing whether a combination of two existing drugs, denosumab and letrozole, can help some infertile men who produce no sperm (a condition called non-obstructive azoospermia) to start producing sperm. The goal is to see if this treatment can create sperm that can be used for fertility procedures, offering a potential new path to biological fatherhood. The trial is enrolling 16 men who have a specific hormone level (AMH) that suggests they might respond to this treatment.
