Summary
This study tested a new way to completely cure vivax malaria, a type that can hide in the liver and cause people to get sick again. Researchers gave nearly 3,000 patients in Indonesia a faster, high-dose treatment. First, they used a simple finger-prick test to check for a common genetic condition, making the treatment safer by preventing dangerous side effects.
