New scan aims to spot hidden lymphoma tumors more accurately
NCT ID NCT06125028
Summary
This trial tested a new type of PET scan imaging agent called [68Ga]Ga-PTF to see if it could better detect and map out marginal zone lymphoma tumors compared to the standard FDG PET scan. The study involved patients with confirmed lymphoma who had not yet started treatment. The goal was to determine if the new scan could find more tumors or change how doctors plan treatment, potentially leading to more accurate staging.
