New pill tested to fight serious kidney disease in lupus patients

Summary

This study is testing a new oral medication called IPG11406 for people with lupus nephritis, a serious kidney disease caused by lupus. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the drug shows early signs of helping control the disease by looking at kidney function and immune system markers. About 36 participants will take the drug for 28 days while researchers closely monitor their health.
