New 'Breath Scan' could revolutionize lung disease diagnosis

Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive imaging technology called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to see if it can effectively monitor lung function. The goal is to see if EIT can work as well as or better than the standard breathing test (spirometry), especially for patients who have trouble performing that test. Researchers will enroll 400 adults, including both healthy volunteers and people with various lung diseases like COPD and asthma.
