New 'Breath Map' test could revolutionize lung disease diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07356076
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive imaging technology called Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) to see if it can effectively monitor lung function. It aims to create a real-time 'map' of breathing in patients with lung diseases like COPD, asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis. The goal is to see if this method can work as well as or better than standard breathing tests, especially for patients who have difficulty performing them.
