New hope for aggressive lung cancer: experimental drug trial seeks to extend lives
NCT ID NCT07226999
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called PF-08634404 works better when combined with standard chemotherapy for extensive-stage small cell lung cancer, a fast-spreading type of lung cancer. Researchers will enroll 550 adults who haven't received prior chemotherapy for this cancer to compare the new combination against an existing approved treatment. The goal is to see if this approach helps patients live longer and better control their cancer.
