Radioactive cancer fighter enters first human trials

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new radioactive drug called 225Ac-ABD147 for people with two aggressive types of lung cancer that have progressed after standard chemotherapy. Researchers will first determine safe doses and track where the drug goes in the body, then evaluate how it affects tumors. The trial involves about 65 adults with small cell or large cell neuroendocrine lung cancer who have already received platinum-based chemotherapy.
