New hope for lung cancer patients as roche tests promising drug

Summary

This study is testing whether a new drug called tobemstomig, when given with standard chemotherapy, works better than the current standard treatment (pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy) for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who haven't had treatment before. It will involve about 182 participants and directly compare how long patients live without their cancer getting worse, how many respond to treatment, and their quality of life.
