New hope for lung cancer patients after first treatment fails
NCT ID NCT06671379
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called SHR-A2009 works better than standard chemotherapy for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific genetic change (EGFR mutation) and has stopped responding to their initial targeted therapy. About 500 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or chemotherapy to see which one better controls the cancer and keeps it from growing. The main goal is to see if SHR-A2009 helps patients live longer without their cancer getting worse compared to the standard treatment.
