New hope for tough lung cancer: experimental drug enters human testing

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new oral drug called Debio 0123 in combination with two standard chemotherapy drugs (carboplatin and etoposide). It aims to find a safe dose and see if the combination can help control tumors in adults whose small cell lung cancer has returned or worsened after previous platinum-based treatment. The study will enroll about 34 participants to closely monitor side effects and gather initial signs of whether the treatment slows the cancer.
