New targeted drug trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

Summary

This study is testing whether a new drug called ZL-1310 works better than standard treatments for people whose small cell lung cancer has returned after initial therapy. About 480 adults with relapsed cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or their doctor's choice of standard therapy. Researchers will compare how long patients live, how much their tumors shrink, and the safety of the treatments.
