New pill targets Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

Summary
This study is testing a new oral medication called STX-241 for people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has continued to grow despite treatment with standard targeted drugs (EGFR TKIs). The main goals are to find a safe and effective dose and to see if the drug can shrink tumors. The trial is for adults whose cancer has a specific genetic change (C797X mutation) and has spread locally or to other parts of the body.
