Targeted attack on liver cancer: new trial tests direct drug delivery

NCT ID NCT07282509

Summary

This trial is testing a new way to deliver chemotherapy directly to liver tumors in people with advanced liver cancer that has worsened after first treatment. Doctors will thread a catheter through an artery to infuse a special form of the drug paclitaxel directly into the liver, combined with standard medications. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and if it can help shrink or control the cancer.
