New gel injection aims to dissolve unsightly lumps without surgery

NCT ID NCT07237425

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new injectable drug called Ronkyla Plus for treating superficial lipomas, which are common, non-cancerous fatty lumps under the skin. The goal is to see if it is safe, how the body processes it, and if it can shrink or clear these lumps, potentially offering a non-surgical option. The study will enroll 56 healthy adults and compare the new injection to an existing approved treatment.
