Light therapy trial targets Pre-Cancerous skin spots

Summary
This study is testing a reformulated gel that is activated by blue light to treat rough, scaly patches of sun-damaged skin (actinic keratosis) on the arms. About 260 adults with 4 to 8 of these patches on one arm will receive either the active gel or a placebo gel, followed by light exposure. The main goal is to see how many patients have all their treated patches completely cleared by 12 weeks.
