New eye lens aims to sharpen vision at all distances after cataract surgery

Summary
This study tested a new type of lens implant (AT ELANA 841P) for people getting cataract surgery. It was compared to a standard lens to see if it was safe and better at helping people see clearly at far, intermediate, and near distances. About 284 adults had the surgery in both eyes and were followed for six months with eye exams and vision questionnaires.
