New labor induction device put to the test

NCT ID NCT07414771

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called the INGA catheter, which is a small balloon used to help prepare a pregnant woman's cervix for labor induction. About 30-50 pregnant women at full term will have the device inserted as part of their standard care to see if it's safe and easy to use. Researchers will collect feedback from both patients and healthcare providers to understand how well the device works in real hospital settings.
