Bendable suction tool tested for complex kidney stones
NCT ID NCT07342361
Summary
This study is testing a new bendable, suction-enabled surgical tool for removing large, branched kidney stones (staghorn stones). Researchers will compare this new tool against the standard surgical sheath in 100 patients undergoing a minimally invasive kidney stone procedure. The goal is to see if the new tool is safer and more effective at completely removing stones.
