Kidney cancer breakthrough? new gel treatment could replace surgery
NCT ID NCT06124976
Summary
This study is testing a new gel form of chemotherapy called ST-02 for treating low-grade tumors in the upper urinary tract (kidney and ureter). Participants will receive the gel directly into the kidney area once a week for six weeks to see if it can destroy the cancer without needing invasive surgery. The main goals are to check if the treatment is safe and if it completely eliminates the tumors within three months.
