New drug duo battles advanced kidney cancer in Head-to-Head trial
NCT ID NCT05928806
Summary
This study is testing a new combination of two immunotherapy drugs (botensilimab and balstilimab) for people newly diagnosed with advanced kidney cancer that has spread. It will compare this new combination to a standard two-drug immunotherapy treatment (ipilimumab and nivolumab) to see which is more effective and safer. The trial aims to enroll 120 participants and will measure how well tumors shrink and how long patients live without their cancer getting worse.
