Needle over knife? quick jab aims to sharpen sagging jawlines

NCT ID NCT06948045

Summary

This study is testing a new, quick injection technique to improve the appearance of facial aging, specifically sagging skin around the jawline. Researchers will inject a product called poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates the body's own collagen, to see if it can better define the jaw and provide a subtle lifting effect. The study will enroll 46 volunteers to check if the technique is safe and effective compared to before-and-after photos.
