Growth factor injection tested for locked jaw pain
NCT ID NCT07075276
Summary
This study is testing whether a new injection treatment using concentrated growth factors from a patient's own blood works better than the standard fluid-draining procedure for a painful jaw joint condition. Researchers will compare the two treatments in 32 adults with displaced jaw joint discs to see which one reduces pain and improves mouth opening more effectively. The goal is to find a better option for managing this common jaw disorder.
