New antibody tested for rare bleeding disorder

NCT ID NCT07043946

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new antibody drug called budoprutug in adults with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition where the immune system attacks platelets. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and well-tolerated, while also seeing if it helps raise platelet counts. Researchers will give the drug to small groups of people at increasing doses to find the right amount.
