New scan aims to spot hidden cancer spread
NCT ID NCT05747625
Summary
This study is testing a new imaging agent to see if it can better detect when head and neck cancer has spread to other parts of the body. Researchers will give 60 participants an infusion of the experimental agent and then perform a special PET/CT scan. They will compare the results of this new scan to standard imaging methods like MRI and CT to see which is more accurate.
