Scientists aim to see inside foot pain with new scan

Summary
This study aims to create a new imaging test to more accurately find and measure the source of chronic foot pain, like plantar fasciitis. Researchers will use advanced ultrasound and MRI scans on 120 people with foot pain and pain-free volunteers to develop a detailed 'picture' of the problem. The goal is to give doctors a better tool to diagnose and personalize treatment for these painful conditions.
