Summary

This study tested whether a monthly injection called tonlamarsen could help lower blood pressure in adults whose high blood pressure wasn't controlled despite taking two or more medications. Researchers compared the injection to a placebo in 206 participants over 20 weeks to see if it safely reduced blood pressure. The goal was to find another option for people struggling to reach their blood pressure targets.
