Tiny screw could save kids with CP from major hip surgery

NCT ID NCT06983353

Summary

This study is testing a new, less invasive procedure to correct a common hip problem in children with cerebral palsy. Doctors will insert a small screw across a growth plate in the hip to gradually guide the bone into a better position. The goal is to prevent the hip from dislocating and avoid the need for more complex, painful surgeries later on.
