Breakthrough hip replacement technology enters major testing phase

Summary
This study is testing whether a new hip replacement system called the HIT Reverse is safe and works as well as currently available hip replacements. About 288 people with severe hip arthritis or damage will receive either the new system or an established one, then be followed for two years. Researchers will compare pain relief, mobility improvements, and whether either device needs replacement during that time.
