Summary

This study is testing a new device called ECLIPSIUM that helps hold a surgical mesh in place during laparoscopic hernia repair. It compares this new, dissolvable polymer device to standard dissolvable tacks to see if it is as safe and effective at preventing the hernia from coming back. The trial will enroll 240 adults with a single, small-to-medium sized ventral hernia.
