Heating up the fight: trial tests heat therapy to boost sarcoma survival

Summary
This trial is testing whether a new combination treatment approach is practical for patients with high-risk soft tissue sarcomas. It combines chemotherapy with targeted heat therapy, followed by radiation and surgery, to try to improve survival. The study will enroll 24 patients to see if people can complete this intensive treatment schedule, which may require travel for the heat therapy sessions.
