Heart 'Belt' offers hope for untreatable valve leak
NCT ID NCT06479824
Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive procedure called TRAIPTA for people with a severely leaky tricuspid heart valve. The procedure involves placing a special loop, like a belt, around the heart through a vein in the leg to help the valve close better. It is for adults with severe symptoms who are not eligible for standard surgical repair.
